Foundation of Fire House Bangladesh successfully completed the 1st Youth Disaster Response Volunteer Gathering on 30-31 October at Railway Regional Training Center. During the two days of Gathering, hands-on training was also given on how to conduct search and rescue operations in various disasters including disaster management, fire, first aid. In addition, the responsibilities and duties of volunteers, roles, activities and other issues are discussed in the program. They also discuss how future volunteers can play a role in enhancing their skills and coping with any disaster in the country. And lastly, in 2020-2021, certificates and awards were handed over to the volunteers who served in various disasters and certificates were distributed among the Gathering participants.
