Md. Nazrul Islam Khan, Former Secretary, Ministry of Education, People’s Republic of Bangladesh.N I Khan has been made Curator of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Museum.
Prior to joining the ICT division as secretary, N I Khan was private secretary-1 of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. He was national project director of the Access to Information programme of the Prime Minister’s Office.
N I Khan who always stood first in academic life took up various innovative projects and initiatives for building digital Bangladesh.
As the ICT division secretary, he work hand at the instruction of the Prime Minister to reach ICT services to rural people by taking up different programmes and projects, including setting up of UISCs, e-service centre at districts and upazilas, developing freelancers through learning and earning and developing Bangla applications (apps) of government offices.
Replying to a question about his plan for digitalization of education sector, N I khan said education sector is a very wide area and there is enormous scope to work there.
Khan said he wants to work for the development of this sector by incorporation technology.
