Blizzard has confirmed that all of Diablo 4 gold your Renown rewards are carrying over to Diablo 4 Season 2, the Season of Blood, when completed on any prior character beyond the Altars of Lilith and Map Discovery, to the great relief of many.
As part of the new season reveal, Blizzard delved into some of the quality-of-life changes being made to ease players' frustrations with the game since it launched earlier this year.
A large part of those frustrations has been the Renown system. Completing objectives and open-world activities to get experience points that go towards things like potion charges, skill points, and more hasn't sat too well with players. However, having to do that all again at the start of each new season is far from many players' idea of fun.

Diablo 4's Butcher is falling victim to the same exploit from 27 years ago.
If you didn't already know, The Butcher has been terrorizing Diablo players since back in the 1990s. The fear-inducing enemy could be trapped behind a locked door in the original Diablo, and it's this trick that players are now using all over again to slay the Butcher in Diablo 4.
As first reported by Icy-Veins, Diablo 4 players are now trapping the Butcher behind doors, and repeatedly attacking the heckin' large brute until he falls down dead. There's nothing the Butcher can do to the player from cheap Diablo IV gold behind the door, so it's basically an exploit that only works one way.
